Nancy Miller
I'm Nancy Miller and have lived in Weed most of my life. In fact, some long time Weedites may remember me as Nancy Harris. I played sports growing up, and still enjoy being physically active...especially in the water....swimming, kayaking, and hanging out at the lake. Other interests include: hiking, walking my dog, cooking and baking, trying new recipes, and gardening.
I started attending water exercise classes in my 20's, and continued through both of my pregnancies, which resulted in fairly easy births. Whenever there were water exercise classes offered in Weed, I was there. Now in my mid-50's, I have been teaching Water Exercise classes at the Weed Community Center for 1.5 years. My goal in leading my classes is to provide a fun, well organized workout that will provide benefits for all.
Water provides built in resistance for your entire body and exercising in the water provides a low-impact exercise option that will help with weight loss and overall toning. Over time it will improve your strength, cardiovascular health, flexibility, and balance.
Water exercise is by far my favorite form of exercise. I absolutely love being in the water as it seems to wash away the stresses of the day. It brings me joy to share this passion with others; and I love to see my students as they improve their overall health and wellness. I'm excited to see you at the pool and look forward to sharing my love of the water and exercise so you too can achieve your health and exercise goals.
Stop by and check out the water exercises classes. You won't regret it!
